May you have safe flights and enough time to capture the moments in art!
During recent meet-up with harddrive, to get in touch with my artistic past, see what I have done and how it has turned out, I discovered a lot of drawings, and some monotypes. Here are the three of eight colourful drawings (are they even drawings?; what do you consider of something where and when you use all the suitable materials, e.g. watercolours, pencils, ink, pastels) that I consider best from the series ‘Eight Voices To Silence’ that was shown at National Library Of Estonia during my solo show in March 2016. Enjoy.
First Voice To Silence. 2015. Acrylics, watercolours, ink. 29,7 x 42 cm
Third Voice To Silence. 2015. Acrylics, watercolours, ink. 29,7 x 42 cm
Fourth Voice To Silence. 2015. Acrylics, watercolours, ink. 42 x 29,7 cm
There is a really nice place at Viru Keskus, in the heart of Tallinn, that is next to a wonderful bookstore, Rahva Raamat…
At Viru Väljak 4/6, on the 4th floor, you can enjoy delicious bakery (my favorite is the duck-caramelised onion quiche!), with the best choice of cakes and well perzonalised water (you know, all the strange and tasty addings).
The only thing, there was a corner far too dark to be enjoyed. So we added a few paintings to make it brighter for the visitors. You can go everytime when Cafe More is open and check them out for yourself. That kind of culture mixing is adorable!
People enjoying all kinds of things. 2017 @ Cafe More, Tallinn
